We attended to “Trends In Emerging Architectural Materials” conference as a key speaker collabrated with Can Tamirci and FGA Architects in Beşiktaş Sea Musesum. At the conference, three-dimensional presentation techniques in architecture was our essential topic. We discussed that how this techniques and digital images related to architectural design, effects real spatial experince at the space. Some of criticized highlights are given below:

In today’s universal architectural practice, digital visualization tools have an important place in the representation of space. While these representation tools can easily depict a space that has not yet been built with the developing technology, the quality of the representation and the approach in its production can manipulate the “pre-experience” created for the space. However, the lack of multi-sensory inputs to the space in the produced representation creates significant differences between the represented space and the actual space experienced. Disconnections and deformations between the architectural design process and the final product, the space, can negatively shape the user’s experience of space and undermine the practice of architecture.
